This is an interesting question, that is not easy to answer.
On one hand, VR can give you unique experiences, especially to those who otherwise don't have the means to try them, it also offers you superpowers, and is disability free - e.g. you typically don't see a wheelchair on a metaverse avatar.
However, can people with different abilities use VR as easily as others?
The simple answer is NO.
We at MXT, are proud to offer experiences, and work with others to try and at least improve the situation and as part of the Bellevue College XR lab conference, we will be participating in the event in a major way on Friday, February 27, starting at 9am (details at the bottom)
In preparation for the event, we (David, Nelson, Jeff) met with the organizers (Ron and Maria) and one of the most influential guest speakers Karanveer, who used to be a BC student, and now acts as a guest speaker, videographer, and other roles.

The BC team crafted this video (edited by K) that gives an overview of the things to come as well as K's visit to the MXT studio.
