In our last MDRS post, we noted the new MDRS environment. However, during our research, we also decided to reach for the stars and create a VR experience that looked as photorealistic as possible.
v3 - We are glad to introduce MDRS terrain 3.0!
And below you can see v2 and v1 environments for comparison
v2 - optimized terrain for VR. It looks good, performs great, but needs some pizazz!
v1 terrain - built from photogrammetry and drone footage. Colors are off, textures have holes (white spaces), light and shadows are baked in.
