Partnering with Bellevue College

[Bellevue, WA] - For the second year running, Bellevue Community College (BCC) and MXTreality are excited to announce their partnership to create capstone projects with student teams that focus on using technology for social good.

The collaboration aims to provide students with an opportunity to apply their technical skills to real-world projects while creating a positive impact on their community. Each student team will consist of approximately four individuals, who will be mentored by MXTreality's experienced team members. The project will involve the development of a Unity3D based experience that can be used in virtual reality (VR) and will benefit the local community.

"We are thrilled to again partner with MXTreality on this exciting initiative, that helps our students, our courses, and the community." said Dr. Bruce Wolcott, President of the XR Lab at Bellevue Community College. Pete Ophoven, who leads the XR initatives for BCC continues "Our students will have the unique opportunity to work on innovative capstone projects that utilize the latest VR technologies, while improving lives, and advancing their chances of future careers."

This collaborative effort is an excellent opportunity for BCC students to apply their skills in VR and Unity3D development to create something that will have a tangible impact. The project will also provide students with valuable experience working on a team, managing deadlines and expectations, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
