Highway work often involves working in dangerous and even life threatening situations, sometimes added to the mix is that one is required to perform specific tasks while working at heights.

Getting used to working with altitude is not an easy task, and feeling comfortable while under such pressures is tricky to train for.

The Working at Heights projects allows employees to train in virtual reality by completing tasks at gradually increasing altitudes to gradually adjust to those conditions. Later editions also include support for the TeslaSuit, a full body haptic suits so users can feel a physical effect of increased altitudes for experience that is even more accurate to real life.
